Sneeze into your Sleeve

“Cover your nose when you sneeze.” “Cover your mouth when you cough.” Lessons taught by mothers world-wide still apply. A tissue remains the best way to practice respiratory etiquette. The second choice has changed. Today we are being asked to “cover” with our sleeve rather than our hands.

Why the change? Hands that are used to cover your mouth or nose become the new home for germs. If your hand then comes in contact with someone or something the germ can be transferred.

So please sneeze into your sleeve and remember to practice good hand hygiene if you forget!
