Susan Peterson, RN, joined LivHOME, Inc. through an acquisition of AllianceCare At Home and Sunrise-At-Home Senior Living in November 2008.

She has worked as an RN care manager for several years and has experience as a clinical manager with Sunrise-At-Home. During the last 14 years, she worked in the Medicare setting, as a case manager for insurance clients, and she assisted in building Heartland Hospice in Fairfax, VA. She was the first clinical manager and case manager, and saw their first clients, and also assisted in opening their homecare side of the business.

Susan graduated from George Mason University in 1986 with a BSN. She immediately started work in what was then Arlington Hospital and stayed for nine years until working with the Visiting Nurses Association.

Susan is a positive advocate for the clients, as she loves to teach and take any opportunity to instruct, review or listen to the needs of clients and Caregivers. She thoroughly enjoys being part of the Caregiver orientation and ongoing trainings provided to the staff members.
