Laura Boatman joined the LivHOME team as a Care Manager in June of 2009. She brings to LivHOME more than twenty-two years of nursing experience and has focused on gerontology since 2002.

Prior to joining LivHOME, Laura worked for some of the country’s largest assisted-living communities. She was the health services director at Sunrise Assisted Living as well as at Aegis of Ventura and executive director at Brookdale Senior Living. Laura has a strong background in working with the chronic illnesses that sometimes accompany the aging process.

Laura received her L.V.N. license from Pacific Coast College and holds a current R.C.F.E. Administrator Certification (Residential Care Facility for the Elderly). She served on the Ventura County Home Care Advisory Board, is a member of CALA (California Assisted Living Association) and is an active participant with the Alzheimer’s Association.
