Barbara Douglas joined LivHOME as a Care Manager in 2012. Barbara has been a registered nurse since 1994, after working in sales and marketing for ten years. Barbara has experience in a wide range of settings, including home health, eldercare facilities, medical-surgical, operating rooms and school health. She brings with her extensive experience in working with clients and families to achieve their goals.

Barbara has a passion for working with her community. She loves to teach and takes any opportunity to instruct, review or listen to the needs of clients and Caregivers.

Barbara earned a BS degree in biology from Knoxville College, Knoxville, Tennessee, and a BS in nursing from Howard University in Washington, D.C. Barbara is licensed as an R.N. in the state of Maryland and the District of Columbia. She is certified in nursing delegation in Maryland. She is committed to providing excellent care by working to truly understand the needs of her clients and their family members.
