Sharon Rosenfield joined LivHOME in 2000 as a Care Manager and brings 25 years of nursing experience to the company.

Previously, Sharon was a psychiatric nurse practitioner in geriatric psychiatry at UCLA, and she worked as an advanced practice nurse in the geriatric psychiatric unit at UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute and Hospital. Sharon taught nursing at Ohio State University and Seton Hall in New Jersey. She also planned and monitored psychiatric programs at hospitals in New Jersey.

Sharon has a master of science degree in nursing from Ohio State University. She received her nursing diploma from Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa. She is credentialed as a Care Manager, Certified (CMC) by the National Academy of Certified Care Managers and is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Board Certified (APRN, BC).

Sharon is active in a number of local and national associations, including:
• Crisis Response Team at the Maple Counseling Center, member
• American Psychiatric Nurses Association, member
• National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers (NAPGCM), member
• Alzheimer’s Association of Southern California, member

Sharon has authored several articles published in nursing journals on topics ranging from nursing care for Holocaust survivors to stress-related eating disorders.
