Gail Zimmerman joined LivHOME in 2000 as Director and later as Area Vice President of the Los Angeles office. Previously, she was the administrator and director of clinical services at SunPlus Home Health. Gail has a wide range of nursing experiences in a variety of settings, including hospital, clinic and over 30 years in the home health care industry.
Gail holds a current registered nurse license and a public health nurse certificate. She received her bachelor of science degree in nursing from the University of Iowa and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, Honor Society of Nursing. Gail is credentialed as a Care Manager, Certified (CMC) by the National Academy of Certified Care Managers.
In 2002, Gail was instrumental in the achievement of accreditation for LivHOME. This accreditation was awarded by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC), which is an independent peer review organization committed to the improvement of organizational operations and the delivery of quality paraprofessional services.
Gail is an active participant in the annual Alzheimer’s Memory Walk and the Stroke Association’s Race to Strike Out Stroke Walk.
