Christine Vining joined LivHOME in 2001 and brought with her over 15 years of experience in providing a supportive environment for elders. Christine was promoted to Assistant Executive Director in 2007 after six years of experience as a Care Manager, including three years as a Care Manager Team Leader.
Before joining LivHOME in 2001, Christine worked as the director of the Alzheimer’s Program at Country Villa Mar Vista, a skilled-nursing facility. Prior to this, Christine coordinated services for older adults with special needs at Residential Management Services.
Christine is credentialed as a Care Manager, Certified (CMC) by the National Academy of Certified Care Managers. She earned her bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Western New England College in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Christine is active in many organizations, including:
- The National Association for Professional Geriatric Care Managers (NAPGCM), member
- The Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk, co-captain
- The Stroke Association of Southern California’s Strike Out Stroke Walk, co-captain
- The AIDS/LifeCycle ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles, 2004, 2005 and 2006
