Jan Hynek joined LivHOME in 2000 as a Care Manager.

Previously, she worked with seniors in an outpatient mental health setting and was a public health nurse in Washington and Minnesota. Additionally, Jan has performed utilization review, discharge planning and case management for long-term care insurance. In addition to her many years of nursing experience, Jan has studied complementary and alternative medicine and psychology.

Jan earned her bachelor of science in nursing at the University of Nebraska and is licensed as a registered nurse and certified as a public health nurse. Jan is credentialed as a Care Manager, Certified (CMC) by the National Academy of Certified Care Managers.

Jan is very involved in her church and community. She volunteers with an animal adoption agency and is also active in environmental protection agencies. She continuously promotes the LivHOME efforts to reduce, reuse and recycle.
